After Nathan’s baseball game (which his team won 17-8), my entire family drove up to Stockton for Matthew’s belated 4th birthday party. His birthday is in February, and he was supposed to have a birthday party, but Auntie Joyce’s brother had passed away and they made an emergency trip to the Philippines. Unforunately, Auntie Joyce didn’t have a passport when she and Matthew flew to the Philippines. Long story short, they didn’t get back to the US until a couple weeks ago. So there you go. A belated birthday party. I was supposed to go with Alex to Andrew HIll’s senior prom, but due to miscommunication, I didn’t. I ended up staying in Stockton for almost 6 hours. This included playing Texas Hold’Em. I got 3rd place out of 9 people. It was sad. I had a full house, and was beaten by a higher full house. Uncle Buting ended up winning it all.
Anyway, I had a lot of food and a lot of fun playing with the kids. I love Dylan and Matthew. I absolutely love the way Matthew says my name. And he likes saying it too, so it makes it even more enjoyable. And I love Dylan’s hugs. He loves to hug me too…or at least I think so. So that was my Saturday.
Today I spent most of the day playing Mario Kart on the Wii. I’m going to get better at it, just wait!
13 more days until John comes home! Weeeeeeee!
