2008 kicked off what I hope is the beginning of the period in my life when I go to weddings non-stop. Or at least, the year where a bunch of folks I knew got married. I had so many friends and acquaintances get married this year that I truly think that this was the year of love. But of course, I’m slightly biased. I thought it’d be nice to take a little look at the 2008 weddings. In all honesty, I really only attended a handful of these weddings, and only a handful of those couples I’m posting attended my own. I think once you plan your wedding, it is RARELY personal when you’re not invited to weddings. People have to make cutoffs, and everyone should respect the couple’s decisions regarding who they invite and who they don’t. At least that’s what I kept hoping for when planning my own wedding. Most, if not all, of these couples are relatives or friends from high school, college, law school, and even those friends I made while planning my own wedding. Anyway, without further ado…congratulations to all of those who were married this year!

Phew, that was a lot of weddings to stalk in one year
I love seeing everyone look so radiant and beautiful, and just uncontrollably happy. Love it! It’s always fun looking back at these weddings to see how different everyone’s visions for their own wedding were. From church ceremonies, to outside ceremonies; from small, intimate receptions to huge, lavish receptions; from light, pastels to bold, dark colors. Everyone had their own idea of their perfect day. The one thing that everyone had in common was the love that they had for their spouse, and that their day was truly the happiest day of their life.
