Our Charmeng Wedding: Get down and boogie

And now for the portion of our wedding I like to call “get down and boogie.” It’s really quite funny, but our videographer and photographer had asked John and I if they could get some shots of us on the dance floor before they wrapped up, and of course we said yes. Unfortunately, we were in the foyer hanging out with our guests in front of our photo booth. The cocktail tables were still in the foyer during the reception so it was a nice place to just hang out away from the music and dim lighting. So while John and I were relaxing in the foyer, our photographer and videographer were waiting in the ballroom for us. In the meantime, they were snapping away at our guests who found one of my coolest, most happenin’ ring bearers/cousins who absolutely LOVES to dance.

Of course he was the life of the party.

Nothin’ like guests gettin’ low with my hip hopster cuzzo.

They didn’t know it, but he won’t stop dancing. He loves it too much, and is not shy at all.

Don’t you love how it looks like they match?

This is his signature move btw. He looks like a DJ on the ones and twos. Wicky, wicky, wicky, wicky.

And out of no where, my OTHER ring bearer/cousin started dancing. Now this boy, he doesn’t dance, and doesn’t usually like people. There must’ve been something in the water that night.

But he was having fun, so who am I to judge?

He was even able to find a dance partner! Now that’s amazing. That little boy never ceases to amaze me.

And after snapping away at all of these pictures of my cousins dancing with our friends, John and I were kindly reminded that our presence was needed on the dance floor. So reluctantly John and I got up and headed back inside the ballroom. But what am I saying?!? WE LOVE TO DANCE!!!

Oh you know we can get down!

For some reason, I looked down in most of my pictures. I think it was the bright lights and attention. It was easier to close my eyes, look down and dance. Dance like nobody was watching!

And apparently at some point I thought no one WAS watching with this beauty. Don’t ask me why I stick out my tongue while dancing. It’s sad for me that our photographer was able to capture it on film.

We were just in our own world…

but that didn’t last long, thanks to my law school coHOrts, hahaha. Ahhhh the memories. Back it up!!!

We all had a great time. What a great bunch of people. So much loved that night.

And before the night was over, our photographer got some shots of us in our photobooth. I’m glad she did, because it was the only time John and I took pictures in the photobooth together.

We’re thugs, what can I say.

…Newlywed thugs…

…and we love each other very much. What a great way to end the night. THE END!!!.
